Eileen took the ladies for lunch while Eric, Al and myself sat in a lounge. Afterwards we all freelanced until 6:30. Some shopped, some rested, and some had mid-afternoon cocktails.
We taxied over to Grand Case with dinner reservations set for 8:00. As we arrived there was a very noticeable change in scene from the previous. This is Mardi Gras Tuesday. The streets that usually would be packed with cars were instead lined with street venders.
The table we had requested was ready for us and just after we ordered the parade passed by.
Dinner was superb
