February 01, 2016

I me Eric for breakfast at a nice Italian cafe located on the boardwalk.  After omelettes and a couple of double expressos we hit the streets for some shopping before meeting the group for our day excursion to the french side.

We all piled into the taxi destined for Grand Case.  As we checked out a couple of restaurants we decide on Le Tastevin for lunch,  A great choice.  My lunch mates menu choices varied from Caesar Salad to Gazpacho while i choose the cheese plate.  This was all accompanied with a couple of varieties of Pouilly Fusse.  My lunch was topped off with a creme carmel and an expresso.  Delish.

What do you think mom?

After a VERY satisfying lunch taxied back to Philipsburg to rest and ready for our dinner at Holland House.  Holland house have come to know us and yet to disappoint.

Capt. Scott and Chef Renee with their friends Donna and Tim have accepted our invitation for dinner now scheduled for 8:00, a party of 10.  We had a wonderful meal with the General Manager Paul personally overseeing our wine choices, menu choices, and table service.  He even walked us down to the boardwalk and shook each of our hands.  Holland House is probably the higher end restaurant in Philipsburg and their attention to detail is far beyond what we had experienced the previous night at Chesterfields.
